Giants Begin Filling Out Practice Squad

The Giants began filling out their eight-man practice squad today. They brought back seven players they waived yesterday. One spot to go….

Back at Quest so far are: DE Matt Broha, CB Charles James, WR Julian Talley, OL Eric Herman, WR Marcus Harris, OL Stephen Goodin and DE Adewale Ojomo.

Broha had another strong summer and it was a bit of a shock that James did not make the final 53. Talley is a UMass product, joining two other Minutemen – WR Victor Cruz and RB Michael Cox – in the building.

Goodin has been a solid backup OL and Herman has high potential. Ojomo, surprisingly, had no takers. Harris could be helpful somewhere down the line.

Other news….

LB Kyle Bosworth, who was waived yesterday by the Giants has been claimed off waivers by the hated Dallas Cowboys.

CB Terrence Frederick, also cut by the Giants yesterday, is signing on with the Cleveland Browns’ practice squad per SNYGiants insider Ralph Vacchiano.

Practice squad players are simply that – practice players. They are not part of the team’s roster and are eligible to be signed to another team’s 53-man roster at any time.
