SNYGiants Week 11 NFL Picks

Jim Mancari , Contributor

The Giants seemed like the logical pick last week but were instead embarrassed. The Chargers also looked bad against the Buccaneers, while the Seahawks and Rams both covered.

Here are this week’s picks. The Giants will have their bye this week. I’ll be using the point spreads from Yahoo! Sports. Feel free to include your picks for these or any other of the week’s games in the comments section. Good luck!

Week 10 Record: 2-2

Overall: 10-6

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-1.5) at Carolina Panthers

Tampa Bay is playing great football under Greg Schiano, and a win this weekend would keep them alive in the playoff hunt. The Panthers have really been inept this season and are really only playing for a high draft pick. The spread here should probably even be bigger, so I’m jumping on this one.

Pick: Buccaneers

Arizona Cardinals (+9.5) at Atlanta Falcons

In this battle of the birds, the Falcons are the heavy favorites. Atlanta lost its first game of the season and will be hungry to get back on the winning track. Arizona has lost five straight games, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the streak moves to six. But I’m betting that the Cardinals can at least keep it closer than 9.5.

Pick: Cardinals

Baltimore Ravens (-3.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger has been ruled out for this game, so Byron Leftwich will start. The Steelers’ defense is tough but so is Baltimore’s. Don’t expect the Ravens to put up 55 points like last week, but covering by 3.5 against a Roethlisberger-less Steelers team is a safe bet.

Pick: Ravens
